La Transplanisphère is an art company based in Paris and led by Bruno Freyssinet. Since 2008, it develops a project questioning politics through performing art. In a context of crisis and mutations, which kind of Europe can we tell today and imagine for tomorrow? How can art stimulate the citizen debate on the future of our societies?

In this context, the theatre company conceives and leads projects of international cooperation supported by the European Commission and other different tutelage in France and in Europe. It proposes today a trans-disciplinary approach associating performing arts, citizenship, youth, education in a dynamic of activities linking the local and the global. The topics are intercultural education, adult education, European identity and migration.

La Transplanisphère associates high school and university students, personalities of all horizons through the artistic creation, workshops, debates, interviews and publications. They also lead workshops from primary to high school and some classes and collective projects at Sciences Po Paris (Political Sciences Institute of Paris).

The company wants to contribute to a renewed open-mindedness of the citizens towards the world through cooperation projects and common artistic creations. The projects are registered in Paris, in the Paris region and in France, as well as in the various associated countries: Sweden, Wales, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Lithuania, Ireland, Hungary, Netherlands, UK, Armenia…
